From Foundation to Freedom: A Home for Holistic Recovery

Before the doors of Conejo Valley Recovery Centers ever opened, every room was carefully prepared—not just with furniture, but with prayer. Holy scripture was written on the foundation of the home, a reminder that healing begins from the ground up.

These words are more than ink on wood and stone—they are promises of peace, comfort, and restoration for men stepping out of chaos and into a new life of abundance.

Today, this house is more than just a sober living environment. It’s a sanctuary where men can rebuild, grow, and find strength in both community and faith.

From brokenness to wholeness. From struggle to freedom. This is where recovery becomes restoration.

Supportive Services and Property Features

Conejo Valley Recovery Centers was established to provide structured sober living for men seeking long-term recovery from substance use disorders. The program is designed to create a supportive, accountability-based environment that fosters personal responsibility, peer connection, and sustainable sobriety.

Residents have access to outside sober support meetings where they engage in recovery-focused community support.  Residents are also encouraged to participate in activities that promote healthy lifestyle changes. The program emphasizes evidence-based practices and peer-supported models to reinforce relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and recovery skill-building.

Three primary recovery pathways are offered through support meetings:

  • 12-Step Recovery: A peer-support model originally developed by Alcoholics Anonymous, adaptable to a wide range of addictions.
  • Refuge Recovery: A mindfulness-based approach rooted in Buddhist philosophy.
  • SMART Recovery: A self-empowerment model based on cognitive-behavioral principles (Self-Management and Recovery Training). Participants may engage in one or multiple approaches based on their individual needs, with the flexibility to explore and determine the recovery pathway that best supports their long-term goals.
