Our founder, Kris Davis, started Conejo Valley Recovery Centers as a way to help male addicts find their way back to a life free of substance abuse. That’s why we provide a sober transitional living environment, where you can be surrounded by like-minded men and attend support meetings that will help you create a life that is sober and free from addiction.  

We offer three main recovery approaches in our support meetings:  

• 12-Step Recovery: This approach, established by AA, can be adapted for a variety of addictions and substance abuse problems. 
• Refuge Recovery: This approach is adapted from Buddhist philosophy. 
• SMART Recovery: This approach stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training. 

We can help you figure out which approach, or combination of approaches, will best help you recover and build a sober life, and you are free to attend whichever support meetings help you the most.  

Our facility is right in the heart of Thousand Oaks, CA, and is clean and comfortably kept. The residential center boasts a full kitchen, music and entertainment rooms, a tranquil outdoor deck for meditation, peaceful sun hammocks, and a fire pit for relaxed evenings.
